Yeah I want this to be open to as many people on here as possible with not much investment on their end. Unfortunately if they don't hae access to a digicam, is gonna cost a few pennies to pay for the pics and the postage to get to me, but hopefully that won't really hinder anyone.

Maybe if more people say whether or not they might like to do it over the next day or so (or as long as the mods kep this thread sticked up) it can get going. I just don't want to have 5 levels of prizes and only 4-5 people want to participate. kind of ruin the fun.

Make up the contest with rules then post a sign up thread. That should give you an idea how many are in. If you don't get enough interest just forget about it. That simple. Capice?

Makes sense - I was hoping for the idea of how many would be interested in this thread. Also trying to get a consensus on what would be a good contest, but it does seem that the picture idea is the way to go!

I will get the rules tonight and the prize structure together and get one of the mods to sticky it for me.

Maybe that is a better way to go about it.

I don't care if you are from Canada or Europe. The cost of shipping is going to come out of my pocket, so you may get the slowest shipping due to cost, but if you participate and are selected to win something - it will go out to you!

How about just a picture of a Spawn figure in the weirdest place. That leaves it quite open and encourages thinking out of the box.

Photoshopping will be illegal of course.

Yes - this has to be an original snap - photoshopping out of the question!!!


The idea that I have going around in my head is a three play of pictures.

1) You and a figure out to dinner.
2) You in the middle of a transaction buying something at a store. Could be the same place as above - dont' want to make it too dfiicult.
3) You and your figure hanging out at home.

Doesn't have to be any specific figure, McFarlane or not. The funniest, most unique, or situation of picture will be selected. The mods will have the initial selection of down to a undetermined number at this point (depends on the prize structure and number of participants).

Then those that are selected by the mods will be posted on the board for voting. The voting will be your selection in order of best to worst, and then I will total the point and announce the winners at a given time in the future as stated in the time frame (when that is figured out)
